Welcome to this Guided Meditation for Inner Peace. There’s a layer of stillness in life that’s always present. You can go to that dimension by taking a little time-out from the mind and moving your awareness into your heart.

It’s simple: just move your attention to your heart, which can be done quickly and easily by placing a hand in that area. Then focus on how that feels, be aware of your heartbeat and the stillness within.

In contrary to the mind, the heart is not racing and buzzing and incessantly going on about stuff. It just is.

This serenity might make you feel a bit uncomfortable just because you’re used to the overactive mind, but I will help you to really relax and truly find some inner peace today.

The more often you do this, the easier it becomes. Be patient, loving, and compassionate towards yourself if you want to see progress. We are all in this together. We are all making the journey from stress to peace. From separation to unity.

Meditation Transcript, Introduction

Welcome to this guided meditation for Inner Peace. I am honored to share this experience with you and to be your guide. We’ll start with some deep breaths, then go deep into our own inner sanctuary, where we will discover our innate ability to deeply relax, heal, rejuvenate, and connect.

When you enter your inner dimension of stillness it’s like floating out of a hectic, erratic beehive, floating and floating all the way up to a cloud in the sky. The beehive keeps buzzing in the same way that it always has, but now you are chilling on a cloud in the sky, enjoying the warmth of the sun and the magnificent view.

So, let’s go to that peaceful dimension now. Don’t worry, the beehive is not going anywhere, we are just going to loosen the grip that it has on you. Place your hands on your heart in a way that feels comfortable to you. Feel your heartbeat.

Now it’s time for you to realize how much you are longing to feel inner peace at this very moment. Have compassion with your need to feel peace and stillness and love right now. Say to yourself ‘I Love You!’ and let that love sink in deep into your heart.

Deep breathing

Make yourself really comfortable. Sit or lay down in a comfortable spot with no or at least limited light, and make sure that you are warm, undisturbed and it’s great if you can listen to this guided meditation with headphones.

You may now close your eyes. Become aware of your breath as you breathe in and out. Try to slow it down slightly without too much force. We will take five breaths together with a longer exhale to signal the nervous system to calm down. Breathe in to the count of four and out to the count of eight.

In: 1, 2, 3, 4

Out: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8

x 5

Now you can release the control of the breath and just let the body breathe on its own. Become aware of the surface underneath you now. Feel how your body is naturally pulled down by gravity. Feel how safe you are in this moment.

The mind tends to be preoccupied with the past and the future, but in this very present moment you are just still, you are safe, and you should thank yourself for taking the time to meditate today.

Feel open and free now as you take a deep breath and let your shoulders relax. Let your jaw and your neck relax. Let your stomach relax and your back relax. Let your arms, legs, feet and your entire body relax.

Guided Meditation for Inner Peace: Go to the next level

Inner peace is not a feeling that comes and goes depending on what goes on in life. Inner peace is a choice. It’s when you say no to drama and reactivity that you can choose peace instead and enter a peaceful dimension that is always available you.

Imagine that peaceful cloud in the sky on a warm summer day. It’s your own personal cloud. Go there now and lay down on your back with your arms and legs stretched out. Sink into the warm, soft cloud and feel the stillness there.

Your Inner Sanctuary

Allow yourself to feel really, really relaxed and peaceful. Feel that warm sunshine on your skin. And you become aware of a warmth growing within you now too. Your heart starts glowing with a warm golden light.

The golden light spreads throughout your body with each breath. You realize that it’s your own love filling you up, warming you, healing your body and soothing your mind.

It’s the eternal flow of love from your heart that has been reactivated, revitalized and it’s pouring divine golden light all over you and it pours over the cloud too and drips down onto the earth underneath you. Soon the buzzing beehive that you took a break from has also been covered in golden love, and you know that your life has been blessed with a new level of awareness, compassion, and tranquillity.

Enjoy this blissful moment as long as you like. When you finish your meditation, your golden aura will keep you safe and still within, like a golden protective shield. Remember to keep love in your heart and be compassionate in order to keep that love flowing and blessing your life.
